Description

The FSS Intermediate program is a comprehensive 2-day course perfect for those who already have basic wine knowledge and want to deepen their understanding of French wines in a hands-on, engaging way. Ideal for hospitality professionals (waitstaff, restaurant managers, bar staff, butler), aspiring sommeliers taking the next step, or wine enthusiasts looking to move beyond the basics, the program focuses on building confidence through real-world skills.

Course Description

  • Duration: 14 hours
  • Week day: Wednesday, Thursday (18,19 March) or (29,30 April)
  • Week end: Saturday, Sunday (28,29 March)
  • Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wine Tasted: 16
  • Level: Basic to Intermediate
  • Certificate of Completion Wine & Spirit Academy

 

Examination & Assessment Criteria

  • Written Examination: 60% Composed of 50 multiple-choice questions and 5 open-ended questions assessing theoretical knowledge from all chapters.
  • Wine Tasting Evaluation: 40% Practical tasting session assessing students’ ability to analyze and describe wines using professional tasting techniques.
